By creating an account on Kefi or using our services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Kefi. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications to these terms.
Kefi is a hyperlocal events discovery platform that connects users with local events and businesses. The service is available at mykefi.co and through our progressive web application. Kefi provides tools for users to discover events, follow businesses, and explore cities, and for businesses to manage their listings, events, and subscriptions.
To use Kefi, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Kefi. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the platform.
Kefi reserves the right to remove, hide, or refuse to publish any event listing, business profile, user account, or user-generated content at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion.
Kefi is not required to provide an explanation or justification for content removal or account action.
This includes but is not limited to events, business listings, photos, reviews, comments, and profile content. Kefi may suspend or terminate any user or business account at any time without prior notice if we determine, in our sole judgment, that such action is necessary or appropriate.
Businesses may subscribe to Kefi to list their business and post events. Subscription plans are available at $49 per month or $499 per year. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Upon cancellation, the business profile remains visible until the end of the paid period, after which it transitions to an inactive state and events are hidden from public view.
Kefi operates a City Pioneer referral program that rewards users for referring businesses to the platform. Qualifying referrals may be eligible for a $20 payout once the referred business subscribes to a paid plan. Kefi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice.
Abuse of the referral system, including but not limited to fake referrals, self-referrals, or any form of manipulation, will result in forfeiture of all pending rewards and may result in account termination.

Kefi and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kefi and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you post on Kefi, but you grant Kefi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform in connection with operating the service.
Kefi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Kefi does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any event information, business listings, or user-generated content posted on the platform. Kefi is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events or businesses listed on the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kefi and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Kefi's total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Kefi in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Kefi may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Kefi after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
