When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, profile photo, and bio. If you sign up with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from your Google account.
We collect your saved city selections and the cities you browse on the platform. If you grant location permission during onboarding, we use your coordinates to suggest nearby cities. We do not continuously track your location.
We collect information about how you use Kefi, including events viewed, saved, and shared; businesses followed; pages visited; and features used.
Payment information for business subscriptions is collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information on our servers.
We collect browser type, operating system, and IP address for analytics, security, and to provide the service.
We use cookies to maintain your login session. These are essential for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.
When a business owner visits Kefi through a referral link, we set a cookie with a 90-day expiry to credit the referring user if the business signs up. This cookie contains only the referral code and no personal information.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or business purposes (such as billing records for business subscriptions).

Kefi is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication through Supabase Auth, row-level security policies on our database, and encrypted payment processing through Stripe. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy on the platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Kefi after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
